Nice to meet you! I'm Ivy ✌🏼

I am a human-centred designer based in Sydney, obsessed with living, thinking, and creating. Since the beginning of 2020, I’ve been pursuing Experience Design, inspired by the design process ‘Double Diamond’; I initially became interested in this design approach during University and after reading Bill Burnett and Dave Evans’ Designing your Life, my design journey began!

Over the last 7 years, I have gained work experience in UX design, product design, design thinking, user research, tech support, customer care, project management, and network design. I have a strong passion for helping and uplifting other people. I'm hoping to combine my experiences and love for design, to create products and services that people need, and solutions to real-world problems.

My Strengths

Active interactions in Research and Facilitation - I rely on effective communication and collaboration to bridge the gap between people and ideas, through asking users the right questions to identify the real issues, organising co-creation workshops to propose viable solutions, and then prototyping services to validate ideas and iterate on them.

Curiosity - new questions, information, and challenges are my thing! I enjoy exploration, learning, and problem-solving. I also have the desire and capacity to engage with other people and products in a meaningful way.

Empathy - my compassionate and empathetic nature, will help me build strong connections and trust between users, customers, and teams easily, quickly, and deeply. This foundation will aid my ability to truly understand their needs and perspectives.
